  • @centurion180ad why do you keep asking was it worth using the fuel to carry them aloft yes it was ok. its not that hard to read yes it was.

  • @SgtGrant23 Troll? What means troll?

I like attack aircraft, and I REALY like electronic aircraft. I was a sailor aircrewman, too. 1980s.

  • @centurion180ad fyi your a really bad troll our you forgot i said it was worth toe fuel to haul them around.

  • @SgtGrant23 I'm confused.

2011 - 19 = 1992, and the Skyraider had been out of service for almost 20 years by the time you were born if you are 19 as of now. So are you saying that enlisted aircrew sailors were and are worth the aviation fuel to haul them aloft?

  • @centurion180ad ya pilots flew the enlisted operated the electronic equipment. nether was I I'm 19 and i work around a skyraider quite a bit in fact a AD-5W which was flown by pilots and had enlisted men in the back to operate the equipment

  • @SgtGrant23 You'll forgive me? I was not on Dixie Station back in the 1960s.

My question still stands. Are enlisted aircrew sailors worth the fuel expended, to haul them aloft?

  • @centurion180ad and btw way they dont use JP-5 they use AV gas 100/130 octane buddy JP-5 is for jets not a piston engine

  • yes sir, who else would operate the electronic equipment? in side the AD-4/AD-5W?s

  • @SgtGrant23 You seem to be suggesting that enlisted sailor aircrewmen were worth the expendature of the extra JP-5 to haul them aloft.

  • @centurion180ad buddy their were lots of variations of the skyraider AD-1-AD-7 they weren't all designed for ground attack, they had sub hunting variants target towing this version here is the skyraider version if the Grumman EA-6B prowler.
