It's a shame she sings far better live. Not as many people get to experience her true talent. Recorded, she sounds great. But on a stage? It's breathtaking. She was born for it.

All I can see from this is Rachel in both her singing and her acting. : /
She can sing; no doubt about that. But I'm glad Samantha Barks got the role.

lea michelle does well in thsi role, but considering that i've seen er in glee and i'm in now waya fan of the televison how that i can't fully say thats hes my favoirty eponine. but thsi si alla matter of opinion an therefor is ntoa solid fact. those who say things agains taylor are merely stating there opions, i too id not want ehr int he show but i would not wish to go spouting off aobut ti unless i was critic and was payed ot spout off aobut it. in opionin i think samatha barks was best.

@clowngirl99 Taylor Swift didn't end up getting the role! Everyone thought she had it, but they in fact gave it to Samantha Barks, which is a much, much better choice :)

i cannot believe Taylor Swift got the role for this. She doesn't have the talent for a role that lea Michele and lea Salonga have hands down. I have no idea what the casting directors were thinking. Just embarrassing.... sorry.

Taylor Swift is neither a legitimate singer or an actress, and while Lea Michele is no Lea Salonga (the ultimate Eponine), Lea Michele is a great fit for the role - better than Samantha Barks or the other Eponines. Taylor might not be the worst for this role, though -- the overrated Sutton Foster already holds the record for being the wrost Eponine of all time.

Ok, I love Taylor Swift and everything, but I don't want her to be Eponine.. She's a great singer, but I don't think she can sing this high. Lea is just perfect for it. I really hope that she would get the part. I hope Taylor won't accept the role..
