I think they build these on Tuesdays before Lunch. Very tight tolerance, don't "talk" at all.
Nicely done! You made it look easy!

use a flex tool

This particular lock had very little feed back, and a flex wrench would have dulled that even more

Bruno: I think the problem is the tension wrench goes in too deep into the keyway & makes it hard to manipulate the pins to false set.
I used to use deep tension wrenches, but find myself using a wrench that only has a 1/2" tang to it, more and more.
On some locks with big or deep keyways you can use the 3/4" deep tanged wrenches with no problem. On these little bastards you need more room to get at the pins.
Anyway - good job buddy.

The wrench really wasn't in the way on this one, I had enough room to go right beside it. This particular lock just had NO feed back, I sent it to -fordfromthebay-maybe he can it a little better. I know what you mean though. I do have a couple wrenches cut shorter at different lenghts to put at the top of the keyway so it sits flat against the lock body but also clear the top pin. But I didn't think it was necessary here.
