The Last Level of Advance Wars Dual Strike (Part4) shows my very first attempt at beating the game on NORMAL campaign (hard campaign appears after you beat normal).

I also had to try 3 times before I finally finished the last level. This video has been edited due to the long-winded length of the battle and shows the very beginning of the battle. In Mission 26, the objective is to destory the 3 weak pink colored weak points on the grand bolt in 24 days (((Note: 24 days=24 turns) (Grand Bolt=the gooy thing north of my HQ). Every six days the grand bolt produces 3 oosumm's (those gooey things).
Even though I used Lash (secondary front co) and Rachel (1st front co) as my commanders, it's better to use Jake and Rachel. The evil mastermind of this game is Bolt and to here more about the plot go to wikipedia or ask me a question.
My plan was to capture the cities around me and send a convoy to stop the enemy's advance in the southern cities. The convoy includes a helicopter and a transport copter with 1 infantry unit. The convoy's main objective will be to prevent the enemy from capturing the 2 southern airports. Infantry takes out 1 unit, the heli takes out the rest. A second convoy will capture the enemy's cities, two com towers and the two south airports.
Meanwhile I put the cpu on the second front in defense mode the hold entire time. Yet if the mission would allow me to turn off the cpu, I would be glad to do that. Another thing is that I protect my bases from oosumms (those gooey things) by using cheap infantry to blow them up. My plan also use mechs, tanks and artillery to wipe incoming enemies from the 2 northern bases that belong to the enemy. I push all unit towards the enemy's front, that way heavy units can be finished off.
I used the money from the cities I've captured earlier in the south to build bombers and a neo tank convoy. This Bombers and neotank convoy will reach the weak spots of the grand bolt around day 19. The convoy spilt up in three groups for the three weak points on the grand bolt. The convey destroy some of the weak points after avoiding hazards. Now that the enemy's funding has drop due to the loses of cities, the convoy bum rush the enemy's bases preventing the enemy from making new units. Meanwhile a bomber bombs what is left the weak points on the Grand Bolt. Mission accomplished.
The video shows a little bit of the end, however the end is so long it would not be fit on here (youtube). Watch part 3, if you are so eager to see the FINAL strike/ offensive and the conclusion. Watch part 4 to see the Outro for the ending (it's a long ending, a good mins worth, ties up most loose ends)
In part 5 I'll give a few brief thoughts on the ending of Advance Wars dual strike and compare it to the ending of the first advance wars. (Yes, I'm an advance wars veteran.) I'll do a review of game compared to the first Advance wars and just overall. Now, without further a due, for your enjoyment and bliss I give you... part four!!!

Nah man, Days of Ruin was the best one yet. Online play with commanders that were actually balanced. Every1 knew that Colin raped so bad. He was overpowered, especially teamed with his sister.

Well days of ruin was an awesome game. They just split into a different story. But hopefully there will be another game in this series.

I beat this game so long ago and my dual strike somehow just got reset so everything was gone im doing it all over again just wanted to see the story line cuz i got days of ruin beat it then did advance wars again then advance wars 2 and now this i found it :S but hawke escaped with the chair.. i thought he became a good guy but with that... he can create another army.. so clever.. so devious, well lets see what happens but i thought it was a bad choice for them to make days of ruin and change.

Theres probably gonna be anther advanced wars game that takes place in wars world because if hawke escaped with the chair...
