that black interviewer must be on one to compare dennis tufano to rappers. the comparison is so out of whack dennis was thinking WTF let me play this question off as quick as possible.LOL

@1986billyk This recording wasn't complete, but the story focused on the 60's Chicago area garage bands. Warner Saunders wasn't comparing Dennis personally to rap. He was comparing the early garage bands' pre-grunge sound to rap, as a form of 'revoloutionary' type music. I think Dennis WAS thinking WTF! when they showed that awful performance clip :)

@bze2nlz1 how do the topics of kind of a drag and mercy mercy even equate to the cesspool of lyrics in rap.to warners credit he said it was a big stretch but then he pressed his point that they are kinda innocent forms of teenage rebellion. not even close. most rap is corruption of intellect and spirit. therefore it has no soul other than dirty soul.

@1986billyk You're right, they don't equate. I was totally ignoring music back in '92 when this was filmed. Maybe the rap twenty years ago was tamer than it is now? Today it IS pretty much a 'cesspool' (good description) of disrespect, violence, and hate. And that's supposed to be music??
