カワサキ・Z1300〔北米名KZ1300〕（ゼットせんさんびゃく）とは、川崎重工業が製造販売を行なっていたオートバイである。
概要

Z1300はドイツ・ケルンショーにて1978年に発表された。同時期に発表されたホンダ・CBX1000と同じく直列6気筒エンジン搭載車であるが、CBXが空冷104­7ccであったのに対し、Z1300は水冷DOHC2バルブ1286ccであり、国産メーカーの車両では当時最大の排気量を誇っていた。なお駆動方式はツアラー色が強いた­めシャフトドライブを採用している。この排気量は当時のハーレーダビッドソンの排気量を超えないよう配慮したためである。 120PSのZ1300の発表を受け、ドイツではオートバイの100馬力規制が発表されたという逸話がある。

北米仕様の車名はKZ1300となり、フューエルタンクが欧州仕様の27リットルに対し、北米は21リットルである。キャブレターはオートバイとしては珍しい2バレル3連­装（2気筒分を3つ装備）であり、後期型（ZG）ではインジェクションモデルとなる。

モデル型式としては、標準モデルのA型、ツアラーモデルのB型が販売され、Z1300Bツーリングはその後、Voyager1300（ボイジャー・ZN1300）としてモ­デルチェンジを受けることになった。

Z1300 was announced in the Germany cairn show in 1978. Z1300 was water-cooled DOHC2 valve 1286cc while CBX was air cooling 1047cc, and it took pride in the maximum displacement in the vehicle of the domestic production manufacturer at that time though it was a car equipped with six series cylinder engine as well as HONDA and CBX1000 that had been announced to a simultaneous period. Because the Zarah color is strong, the drive system adopts the shaft drive. The reason for this displacement is that it considered it so as not to exceed the displacement of Harley Davidson at that time. The announcement of Z1300 of 120 PS is received, and there is an anecdote that 100-horsepower restriction of the motorcycle is announced in Germany.

The car name of the North America specification becomes KZ1300, and North America is 21 liters every 27 ..fuel tank.. liters of a European specification. As the motorcycle, the carburetor is taken off and equipped with two three (cylinders by unusual two barrel three reams) It becomes an injection model in latter term type (ZG).

A type of a standard model and B type of the Zarah model are sold as a model model, and the Z1300B touring will receive restyling as Voyager1300 (voyager and ZN1300) afterwards.

I always thoight the kz 1300's looked so much better then the CBX"S.Im not sure which is faster. they must be pretty close

Kawasaki did a nice job of integrating the switchgear and all the function light's together in one binnacle, and then putting them under a slightly shaded cover to not be so obtrusive to the rider,

they blended it in with the speedo and tach really nicely,

and they match together,
