I have always enjoyed world percussion and the influence that it has had on North American music. A few years ago, I decided that I would learn the Tabla. The following is my attempt at a few patterns.

Also, To anyone who might be reading this. Does anyone know of a good tabla teacher in the Hamilton Ontario area? I havn't been able to find a teacher since moving from Toronto.

you have good rhythm, but need to develope ur hand much better. when playing teteket u must hit the centre of the paste each time, which means to pick the hand high each time..etc

but keep it up...practice, practice, practice!!

first you have to rest your palm very gently or bearly touching the head, that way when you hit with your finger tips don't muff the beat...........
