great show guys watching from the United Kingdom

Thanks! I always thought they missed such an opportunity with that finish.
-
@fagbert i like it
-
Actually, let me flash out my fantasy re-finisher even more. Bret snaps on the sharpshooter, Fuji leaps up on to the apron, only to be nailed by special guest referee Roddy Piper. Cornette jumps up on the opposite apron, Piper nails him, too! With no one left to interfere, Yoko holds on for as long as he can...and finally furiously nods his head -- yes, he submits! New champion, Bret "The Hitman" Hart!

Nghggh, fine, make Yoko SUBMIT, not tap. Happy now? : P ;)
-
@fagbert I dig that finish you came up with, but...it was before tapping was introduced to wrestling ;) heh.

The fall was fine, I thought, but THEN -- Bret shoulda snapped on the sharpshooter, just like he did the year before, and this time make Yoko tap!

Summerslam 92 and 02 are both excellent shows. Did nobody like Austin vs Angle in 2001? I love that match despite the dq finish.

Morrison SHOULD br THE GUY ASASP,WWE...

I really can't agree that 2001 was one of the worst Summerslams. I mean yeah the invasion angle was stupid, a couple otherwise good matches were marred by stupid finishes/interference, and there was one really fucking stupid match... BUT, overall, I can't find myself to say that the quality of the wrestling itself was that much less great than Summerslam 2002. I mean most of the matches were at least good, and it ended with two phenomenal ones that I consider to be near-classics.

No way you guys got Bret Hart!! Awesome stuff guys keep it up

Bret Hart is definitely Mr. SummerSlam...the I-C match w/ Perfect in '91, Bulldog in '92, cage match w/Owen in '94, Tag Title match vs. Demolition at '90, vs Taker at '97....SummerSlam 2002 was the last great SummerSlam
