@leejoliver totally agree mate. As soon as I heard that line I was like - eh? This song is truely so class - but it just diluted something so so special when he sang that! I still forgive them though. No one touches this song when covering it Harry Nilsson, Lennon, Joe Cocker - All failed miserbaly at interprutting this.

I remember watching this performance on TOTP2 with my daughter who was 20 years old at the time. Not having heard the song before, she stared in disbeliefe at the screen and asked in an amazed voice "Dad...who the fu*k is that" It's definately one of the all time great live performances ever and I'm glad we all have the oppertunity to see it again....thanks for posting
