Oh, thank you for uploading this. Not so much because of TK being on it -- although that's fun, too -- but this is the FIRST version of the show I ever saw. I ESPECIALLY remember that giant orange clock. But, I have never been able to convince anyone who didn't see it that it exists.

The reason the show moved from New York City to Montreal was that it was a cost-cutting measure.
And the reason Narz left the show in 1972 was because the show's budget did not include his personal travel expenses (meaning he had to pay for his own airline tickets from Los Angeles to Montreal, and vice-versa).

@Lehnerd57 That's Clayton "Bud" Colliyer. He was the original voice of Superman on Mutual Radio and the first few Fleischer Brothers/Paramount-Famous "Superman" cartoons, both in the 1940's. He also hosted G-T's original "Winner Take All" in the late '40's before "Beat the Clock".

That is Mr.Jack Narz' brother..whose real last name is Narz.

Tom often hosted more than one show at a time, so he was certainly busy. No wonder he is retired now; he could certainly use the rest. :)

Montreal? That would be an interesting to place film a game show. I know they do that for movies sometimes, but TV is interesting. Wonder what was behind that reasoning.

I loved this show when it was on air. RIP Gene Wood and Jack Narz.

I think this was the only G-T show to use live organ accompaniment...in fact, there are no clean "master" copies of the theme cues, although music director Dick Hyman did have the foresight to record his performances live in the studio during a 1974 taping.

The outfits that those two lady assistants were wearing looks like stargate uniforms from Star Trek with the dress hemlines to the humps and the black pantyhose. Jack was the Captain Kirk and Tom was the Dr.Spock hehe

This version resembles "The Bozo the Clown Show" with the organ music and the psychadelic settings.
Does anybody know if this episode here was from before or after production of this show moved from New York to Montreal. I know Jack Narz was host for a about a year in Montreal, then Gene Wood took over.

Easy answer: GSN has never aired any New York episodes. By virtue of a GSN logo on the screen, we can deduce that this is in Canada. :-)
