Contrary to what is stated in the video, you can clean some covers. A few tips
1) Do not attempt to clean matte (non-shiny) covers
2) Shiny covers can be cleaned. The best cleaner I've found is full strength Simple Green. It removes most of the grime and on light colored covers will remove much of the ring wear. It will also take off some adhesive residues.Spray the simple green on a cloth or paper towel, don't spray it directly on the cover.
3) lighter fluid is best on most adhesives

This may well be the most useless video ever. The title says: "How to clean vinyl album covers". What does are so-called "expert'' say? "You don't need to clean them." Thanks for nothing.
Most useful video I've ever watched !
