I find it to be funny that everyone is saying who is better. I think placebo seemed to change the meaning if the song. I like this one better because I heard it first and it has a certain meaning to me now. Its like knocking on heaven's door. Gnr copyied it it had one meaning Dylan has did meaning I like Dylans meaning better.

i really think this a wonderful cover...... the beat matches the lyrics. i found kates version wasnt in sync with the depth of the lyrics. placebo captured it better, imo. :)
