@909chuck Big Bill was Muddy Water's main influence. It's a tragedy that todays White "Blues Experts" have forgotten him.

I feel Big Bill Broonzy is underappreciated here as well as in the blues community of today. The recent biography sets the record straight for the number of and sales of his many tunes. He wrote his own works, helped musicians coming up from the South, and was vital in helping establish the music. If that isn't enuf, he helped bring the Old Town School Of Folk Music in Chi to reality. Give him his due.
