@momo22sissoko Yes! In saw her live at a small jazz club in Ann Arbor years ago and she WAS the music and she "talked" to her band's instruments. It was quite a night. I am SO GLAD I saw her that night. I saw her again later in a huge auditorium and it was not nealy as nice an experiance as it was in a small intimate club.

@momo22sissoko You could be right, momo...it's in my top 10 of all time. Think she got beat out for the Grammy by Aretha, and everyone was pissed about it. This right here is her best performance of forever, and maybe the absolute definition of what I refer to as "late night music." Incredibly moving, especially knowing Esther's life story and pain and heartache and troubles...and the orchestra is beyond beautiful, just fabulous.
