Train: Northbound Grain
Motive Power: BNSF HIII ES44-AC, BNSF HII C44-9W & BNSF "Warbonnet" SD75I (ex-ATSF) (road numbers unidentifiable)

A Northbound BNSF grain train from Ft. Worth, TX heads north towards Oklahoma City, OK. The train is seen here crossing Tecumseh St. on the north side of Norman.

  • Sorry it took so long to respond to your question.

    I'd say an average of 20 trains a day on this line. On a really active day you might get as many as 40 within a 24 hr period. Amtrak comes through twice daily, southbound in the morning and northbound in the evening.

  • I can't believe that car just drove through the crossing while the gates were going down, also how often does the trains go by on this particular crossing?
