  • Yes, I know, but it got too difficult to explain so I just bottom-lined it that electricity always propels the vehicle. --Grant.

  • OK, SO THE SPECIAL ELECTRIC CHARGE ADAPTER IS LIKE 2500$. IT ONLY WORKS AT HOME SO MUST BE REPLACED WITH EVERY HOUSE MOVE. THE BATTERY IS LIKE 9000$ ? AND MUST BE REPLACED EVERY 7 YEARS? EXTERNALITIES TRADE OFF SUGGEST YOUR ARE PAYING AN EXTRA 20,000$ GRAND TO SAVE ON GAS? THIS IS THE BIGGEST RUBE GOLDBERG DEVICE EVER MADE. =EPIC FAIL.

  • Grant is the sexiest name ever.

  • We have tested the Volt, Prius and Isight in Malaysia. the Volt Averaged 288MPG in KL city... Prisu was 2nd and Insight last. this car is a marvel.

  • the unknown factor seems to be the battery maintainance costs

  • @SGTRandyB where did you get this info??? I need some references.

  • so much better than the prius and leaf!!!

  • @pdavid24 We cant drill our way out of foreign oil. Plus, just from a fuel cost stand point this car makes oil compete with other fuels, which are substantially cheaper. Right now the fuel savings are ate up by the high cost of the car, but hat will change in the future. The price tag will be lower, the fuel cost will be lower and the acceleration will be much faster than today's combustion engines. In the near future, every electric car will do 0-60 in 4-5 seconds, this will change minds.

  • After waiting a year I finally got my volt and love it.

  • Sooooo this is basically the next step in hybrids...this was anticipated why? It is only logical this would happen...Where as now Nissan has the advantage by being able to completely focus on improving electric only cars..

  • @speedyboi94 This economy needs to drill its own oil..Kinda simple..you want us to buy our oil, well get our own oil and we will buy it.
