Director Jack Packard (writer/producer/content supervisor at Funny or Die) created this simple but powerful tribute to the ordinary superhero (ala the recent blockbuster film "Kick Ass"). Set to the tune of Milwaukee band The New Loud's remix of rapper Shunda K's recent "Here I Am To Save The World" single (featuring Cindy Wonderful), this quick clip was created in just one take.
The video depicts a man suiting up in everyday superhero garb. He begins taking on various street criminals, before becoming drunk with his own power, eventually causing him to do more harm than good. The video features a DIY reverse-snoori cam harness to create the look of a third person shooter video game - similar to Xbox's 'Gears of War'.
The reverse-snoori cam is the first of its kind, imagined and realized by Packard himself. The video was shot in one take on-location on the bustling KK Avenue in Bay View Milwaukee, WI.
@MrsChristopherDrew1 The director created this do-it-yourself wooden camera harness to mount his flip behind him to create a kind of 1st person shooter video game look to it. We didn't mess with stabilizers or anything, so its a little shaky :)
