This brief video tutorial demonstrates how to remove voices from audio to make karaoke music. We use the Mac version of Audacity, a free, cross-platform audio application, to read an MP3 file and then eventually to remove human voices.
Don't have high expectations. Removing human voices from music completely is infeasible unless they have frequencies in a distinctly limited band away from sounds. So don't be surprised that you can still hear some voices in the resulting audio file.
