  • Great vid and audio. Do you have anymore like this?

  • @tgm9991 Thanks for the feedback. Sorry, I haven't got any more at present, but if you YouTube search for "Group A&C Sandown Historics 2009" there is one from another user.

  • Well done getting this audio. It shows how effective and fast race control react to these situations. It is amazing how many "arm chair experts" have no idea about all this going on while clean up is happening. I have been safety/course car observer at Phillip Island (which is the female voice you hear not the driver on this clip) and this is exactly how the whole day goes when there is racing. Fantastic that you have shared this with everyone.

  • @madmaxrules Thanks for the feedback. I've been the SC Observer a few times too, although not for an event of this scale. And I agree that the "arm chair experts" can be frustrating at times, commenting on incidents from only one perspective. There's always more to the picture than meets the eye.

  • Kudos to the marshalls for their fearless fire fighting work.

  • Maybe some of these people should go into air traffic control. That's what it sounds like at times, and they're speaking more clearly than some ATC's.
