Kurdistan was NEVER a country because : The word Kurd and Kurdistan is only few hundred years old. It was given to Yezidi's who became Muslim. Selcuk Turks gave the name Kurdistan to the region where most of these Muslim Yezids lived.

Kurds are a mix of Armenians, Arabs, Persians and Yezidi;s.. they came here 200 bc with the Persian invasions.,

@TheKarashy There are Kurdish tv channels, news papers, radio's etc. A Kurdish history institute, language institute etc. etc . etc. There is a reason why 80% of the Kurds vote for Turkish parties. There is a reason why there are 80 000 village guards and tens of thousands of Kurdish soldiers in the Turkish armed forces vs 4000 pkk members, of which 50% women and of the men many from Syria, Iran, Armenia etc.

Kurdistan is a name for a region, a name the TURKS gave to that region. The name Kurd is a name invented for Yezidi's who converted to Islam. Kurdistan is a name given by the Selcuks.

@Turoyan We Kurds, a very peaceful people, never blames anyone if they haven't done anything. The only reason we blame Turks is because the Turkish state banned the Kurdish culture, everything that had to do with Kurdish language, names, alphabet. It's a very brutal act and you cannot expect 20 million innocent Kurds to be silence, of course you will be blamed. Unfortunately, we are part of Turkey, and we Kurds, the largest ethnic minority, don't have the same rights as the Turks.

@Turoyan My eyes are open, and as I said, Armenians are welcome and will always be welcome by Kurds. I know for example that Mustafa Ataturk Kemal was a Turkish general and took part in the Armenian genocide, he actually gave orders, a fact that you cannot deny. If Kurds took part in the Armenian genocide- I don't really know because Kurdistan wasn't recognized as a country, so it still counts as Turkey that brought the Armenian Holocaust.

There was no Turkey in 1915, it was still ottoman empire not Turkey.Ottoman empire was not a turkish empire,it was kurdish,greek,armenian,turkish­,balkanian,arabic,persian..emp­ire.Of course you are a part of Turkey,but you don't act that way.You put all responsibilites on modern turks and blame all turkish people and insult them everywhere. @Turoyan We are part of Turkey, if Turkey accepts what they have done and tells the truth, the Turkish state will have to pay everything. Usually, you don't blame the soldiers, they only follow orders without knowing why, but who we should really blame is the Turkish generals and leaders during 1910-1920. It is those who gave the orders to massacre Armenians. It doesn't matter whether Turks will deny it or not, the whole world are already aware that Turkey committed the Armenian genocide.
