I don't understand the 'hating on the new guy thing'...Surely if you are truly a fan of the series you'd give him a chance before slating him...Andy was immense as Spartacus(RIP)...but we want more of the series...so why not give the new guy a chance?

some of you have really backward thinking. saying how the series is ruined because of Liam being the new spartacus, do you really think that's what Andy would have wanted? i'm sure he would want the show to succeed even in his absence, which is true since he personally gave Liam his blessings. not watching the new season because of Liam taking the lead role would be an insult to Andy's wishes and therefore the man himself, may he rest in peace.

@Frengomat sadly that cant be done cause spartacus is an actual historic charactre. still Liam is not as good as andy but...we'll see what he can pull off, he has HUGE shoes to fill, i dont really want to give him a chance, but if he was picked to keep up andys' work then he must have something, so we'll see

@204sparky You make a really good point actually. Oddly enough even though the show is Spartacus in season one it was Batiatis, don't know if I spelled that right, who had the most dialogue and therefore the most scenes. I mean think about how many pages of dialogue the fantastic John Hannah, who really shed his The Mummy goofball status in my opinion, had to memorize. There are other characters is all im saying.

@fafnir9690 Thank you could not have said it better myself. I already wrote this earlier and somewhere else but it''s worth repeating. People who are bitching and threatening to not watch the show are full of shit and they WILL watch it. If so just so they can have something else to bitch and complain about online. And they will keep on watching saying the same shit every week, but it's ok because they are only adding to the ratings and the show has been picked for season 4 already anyway.
