you see the way your wrist is right now? thats the worst habbit to fall into. Not only will it prohibit from playing well, it can also cause wrist problems. my teacher called that the egyptian hand. :D keep a nice line going from your hand to your elbow. good job for playing by ear!

Is your violin backwords? for left handers? Because if not u have your strings in the wrong places O.o Ive never seen a violin like that...

Work on intonation, placing the fingers on the right area of the strings so you hit the right notes. Also your Fingering hand is not placed correctly on the instrument. Your wrist should not be flexed. If you round your hand on the neck of your Violin you'll find it's much easier to hit the notes. :) Other than that, not bad for a beginner ;)
