Doctor/Rose - Etienne

I was going to make a Donna tribute video to this song, because of the line "By the morning maybe we'll remember who I am"... but the rest of the lyrics are just so Drose-y! So I caved and made a nice little Doctor/Rose video.

The song is "Etienne" by Y Kant Tori Read, a little-known 80s band that happened to be fronted by Tori Amos. ;)

For the record, and do not call me a hater for it, but as much as I love David Tennant, he is in no way a better Doctor than Tom Baker. Sometimes I found Tennant s performances bordering on the narmy, although the scene at the end The Last of the Time Lords when the Doctor is holding a dying Master and begging him to regenerate was tear-jerkingly powerful.

With all due respect to RTD (I thank him for bringing Who back; I have been a fan since I was about 5 and I am 31 now), but Steven Moffat is a much better writer and I feel a stronger exec producer. Towards the end I was really getting tired of the deus ex machinas, the soap opera and schmaltzy companion romance stuff the series was becoming infamous for (at least in the minds of some fans). Loved Tennant, but am glad Smith took over. Still, cool fan video!!! :-)

this is just simply outstanding. I used to live in West Hollywood Ca., back in 1988 to 1991, and I remember when Tori-then, as she was known to close friends on the streets of LA as Myra Ellen. This takes me back.....Thank you so much for doing this...very very clever and so right on!!!! Good Luck to you.
