Hardware addresses cant be altered easily. They can be spoofed however. Only validated MACs are allowed on the network. If duplicate macs are detected both are disabled. Keeps the honest thief away I guess. lol. cheers.

MAC address can be very easily altered, not to mention that the mac is usually printed on the phone..lol. There are a couple of tools that allow vlan adjustments too.

Most companies don't care about VoIP security because they buy the stuff from a 3rd party that is suposed to take care of it. Don't blame the enterprise. Good point, bad video.
