Anyone notice that Obama says one thing about taking money from special interest groups but as the leader of his party does nothing to stop all the millions of dollars he is getting for his campaign or for the convention from special interest groups. I though SwiftBoat Vets were sleeze but now I wonder if this time around the DNC is not as bad.
Well I do gripe, but I can also do what change is available to me, i.e. vote for candidates who refuse to take money from shady places, but these candidates are not presented as viable by the primary medium for publicity, the media. The reasons for this remain unseen and widely debatable, but given the information available to me, I don't think this is fair that just because someone rejects money from corporations that they are marginalized and ignored. We live in a democracy not a moneyocracy.
In this specific case, the democrats, but the same could be said for the republicans as well. Their true motives and intentions can be seen by looking at where the money comes from (corporations and lobbyists) and inevitably, what they actually do once elected to produce concrete and permanent solutions to the problems (jack shit).

Not much you can do about where they get their money, besides sit and gripe, that doesn't get anybody anywhere.
