  • so you wanted to see a 15 min video instead of a 5 min with the same out come?.

  • fixed a few thats all

  • @BanjoSpecial

How did you make the transition from the rounded section of the roof back to a flat near the front of the roof?

  • @cscholl2223 just change the ark on the trusses

  • What did you use for roof trusses? I am fixing a 92 terry 5th wheel camper. Right now it has 2x4's with a tapperd cut on them. I think a truss would be stronger. Thanks for the info and great job on the camper.

  • @mossman381 I made trusses from ripping furr 2x4 in to strips(lighter) on your trailer being they used full 2x4s Id stay with that. But use furr.

  • play it backwards and it looks like you took apart a new camper

  • Holy crap!! That's freaking AWESOME!! I'm totally impressed by your attention to detail, and I would NEVER have guessed that you made that from scratch. Did you used to work in a trailer manufacturing plant?? And just how long did that take you to build? Hats off to you my friend!! :)

  • nice job. im planing to build my own :)

  • this is a caravan not a camper trailer, was dissapointed when I started watching it thought its a camping trailer

  • Man, thats fantastic. Did a great job.

  • what did you use to get hot water in the camper?

  • Just finish putting the last wall up, DAMMIT, we forgot to cut the hole for the door out, lol

  • hey nice job,,, i have a question,, did you get some permit to do this work? because I want to make my own camper trailer, but I need to know if I need some permit for construction? thanks

  • Wow,

it's almost as if you: worked as an assembler at an RV builder that went bancrupt in our most recent downturn, bought up some of the pre-assembled wall and RV furnishings of that liquidation, and then brought them home and put them together and filmed this implying you built it from scratch. Since your pics don't actually show the construction of the components, one might, just might, think that.

But, but, we all know that's just silliness.

  • Hi, it looks impressive, insulation is very good for those hot and cold days. I transformed a Chevy P-30 with a shower, had an electric gen set, hot water shower head, roof air conditioner, a water faucet aoutside for hand cleaning. I use it to go around and make mechanic and welding work. I removed the paint and repainted from bare aluminum. My bath was too small, but taking a shower by the mountains is unforgotable. It took about $25,000, I loved it!
