FD3/64 TURBOJET COMBUSTION CHAMBER

improved fd3/64 combustion chamber using walking stick style vaporizers tubes designed by mark drake [hobbyjet 631] to run on jet fuel or paraffin.I used cheap 304 stainless 0.5mm if you can get 310 or 316 may be ok down to 0.30mm thick easier to form holes ( try shim stock may be available)

the pipes (vapouriser tubes or some people call them walking sticks)the parafin is injected down the inside of the tube and vapourises and mixes with air ready to burn when comes out and hits the front of the chamber . gas has to be used only to start and warm the tubes the the heat of combustion keeps them glowing orange to yellow.

Hey what size needles did you use for paraffin injection into those walking sticks? I've almost finished my turbine its just small this like the needles I'm unable to get hold of. Thomas kamps' book listed that size 2 (80gauge/0.8mm) should be used but i haven't been able to get hold of these.

Any recommendations?
