  • Youtube needs more Mike Pope

  • Hadrien took the sound that Jaco achieved and further evolved it. Hadrien as a player has grown past where Jaco was, and has developed his own sound and style.

  • Amazing duet

  • @SuperElectricbass

I would like to think, Mike adjusted his tone to be different to Hadrien rather than that be his tone of choice.

  • hadrien did a WAY better job at comping mike's solo.

during hadrien's solo mike was all over the place, and i mean that in the bad way.

  • @Grillmouth Well, if you need some info, please tell me....You know i´m 49 years old, i saw Jaco blowing the bass and music status....I didn´t read in the books..

  • @somiberico and you can use sandpaper to wipe, any more knowledge for me?

  • jimmy carr

  • Ask me, neither of them sound anything like Jaco. In fact they both remind me more of Jeff Berlin in that they are busy like he is. Oh, did I mention both these cats are straight killing it?

  • Definitely Bass Gods from another galaxy.

  • @Albigatnz you make no sense at all when saying that NO ONE can exceed the innovators. it's like saying nobody can expand on the lightbulb because thomas edison's way was and always will be superior to the lightbulb now. while Hendrix, Coltrane, Marley, and Jaco all created their own style of playing, there are many other players who exceed that, and play better. why not evolve on something that makes sense instead of completely starting fresh? it's called expanding the boundaries.

  • This is great bass playing no doubt.BUT....Jaco made beautiful MUSIC ring out throught the heavens when he played!!!!Big difference. No disrepect to these two great bassists.
