Catholic. We believe that life begins at the start of conception. When we treat life as anything less, then life loses its meaning in the rest of our lives, and in all we do, and in the way we treat each other.

  • I agree that life is very precious. A miracle! Yet, we read or know of young girls or women who become pregnant through incest or rape. How do they feel? And there are instances where children in adoptive or foster homes are abused or neglected. In some countries, children live as orphans due to food shortages. Although offered an abortion after becoming pregnant at age 18, I declined. But I feel compassion, and sanction an individual's right to make choices and use birth control.

  • danceswithcrayons, thanks for the nice comment. I also believe in our right to make choices, except where it takes choices away from some one else, like an unborn child.

  • i totaly disagry if a woman is abussed she even if she keeps the child is going to hate tjis vision because she's going to think it's the rapist in the child that is what she sees and if a fourteen year old gets pregnent she's far to young to care for that child so abortion is for me a miracle the rights to give away that child you don't want i had my first abortion when I was fifteen and for me it's something if i had that child i would have to take it to a foster home

  • lachichounette, I think giving the child up for adoption, is the answer. But remember, the child is also a part of you too. Both you and the child are not responsible for the crime of someone else.

  • IMAGE of GOD?: I dare you to live 6 months, without any man-made cosmetics and then look in the miror. You will see an horrible "image of god"

  • Philos2006, ok I will!

  • I can't even comprehend how some people can not see this is murder or think that life is some radical idea. It is infanticide. Very good points in your video and I didn't know that about capital punishment and giving birth or the Universal declaration of Physicians. I can't help but wonder who these little angel babies would have been if they could have lived to see their potential.

  • Congratulations Steve Silvia!..

  • Wonderful video Ana & Live Action! - thanks for sharing it!

Please check out my video "The Abortion Debate" and pass it along - let's help make 2011 another "pro-life year"!

  • No god--just mythology from man's uneducated and ignorant past. Only suitable for cult belief. Absolute garbage by any standard of enlightened thinking.

  • Excellent, Steve!

  • @Philos2006 many of the most beautiful girls i know are often non-users of makeup... the beauty of a good character far outshines any make up. Not that make up is wrong, just that it's not as important as you think...

you mistake the image of God for a physical one, it is more in line with how we are given sapience and the ability to reflect the intelligence that created us. Now that is our choice to choose to be that image.

    Cheers.

  • @ttthedark , Atheism, is the lack of belief in the existence of any deities( God or gods).

Religion, is a set of beliefs held by a group of people.

Agnosticism, is a type of "philosophical" view about the existence of a God or gods. It can be absolute, empirical or apathetic.

The bottom line is - to kill a living human being, at the start/beginning/conception through to the end/its own death is wrong!

  • @TheGoogtube, you can't be - "not an atheist and not religious" - atheism is not a religion, its when you have no religion..

  • Excellent question!

  • @MrUdo9990 If God made man in his own image, then why aren't we invisable?
