It’s another Saturday
I can’t see the calm for chaos
And a worldly body wilting
Under weights that can’t be lifted
Looks to you for embrace,
Looks to you for understanding
Understand the things we’re asking
It’s a slow and subtle dawning
Of another Saturday

@Pills526 The scottish tune was adapted into a catholic hymn. I don't know the name or the lyrics but my friend used to sing it at her catholic school, that's where she recognised it from.

@Pills526 is it called wild mountain thyme or will ye go lassie go?..i never know which..

Lovely reworking of Wild Mountain Thyme, but there's no beating Liam Clancy singing the original!

@Pills526 I thought it was a traditional Celtic folk song (adapted from the original, of course). It reminds me of the song Wild Mountain Thyme.

Be good to the one that's near
And bow down to one that's wanting
When the fearless step comes calling
You'll be ready if you listen
To the voice heard in prayer
To a steady invitation
Shut your eyes when you're angry
Bow your head when you get lonely
On another Saturday
