  • Dr Taj Hargey should study under straditional scholars who possess a Isnad,

Allah knows best, maybe he believes he is benefiting Islam,

May Allah guide all of Us

    Ameen.

  • MashAllah Abdullah was sharp as usual,

Dr Taj Hargey kept on repeating "who gives a Muslim the authority to declare other people Non-Muslims" i.e. guess there own whimps and desired and interlect regardless if they are right or wrong,

silly point, who gives rioters the right to loot? why does Abdullah have to justify the actions of others?

  • Usamah Hasan went to cambridge? so do any of the cambridge professors have a Isnad?

really sad to see "so called modern scholars" who think they can open books and become "shaykhs" or Muftis,

also what was funny was the fact that he said you can't declare "kufar on a person", the Quran and Sunnah declares who is Muslim and who is not, e.g. if you don't believe in Jesus you are Not Muslim, if you don't believe in "zakah" you are not a Muslim, i.e. there are fundementals in Islam!

  • @robin4good JazzakaAllah,I understand youre point it does make a great deal of sense. Its would just be nice to on one occasion see them together, nowadays if someone isnt on islam channel or associated with another well known muslim group or project you wonder why.So many groups have links suchas IERA and Alkauthar and they with so many others and i love when i go to one event and see them doing something with another organisation it genuinely a great feeling.but ofcourse the more the merrier!

  • I work in iERA and I love what the MDI, and other Dawah organisations are doing. It is not important at all for Dawah organisations to all merge as one organisation. We already are one organisation/Ummah, and our Dawah objectives are the same, that is sharing Islam, explaining Islam, presenting and representing Islam...and our work is for Allah (SwT) alone. The more Dawah organisations we have, the better, and we want all Muslims to be part of Dawah, or even help financially. Thanks

  • interesting may Allah give him tawfique and keep him steadfast.I have been to a Muslim Debate Inititiative event and it was very interesting.I was dissapointed to hear not many people knew about it and that there wasnt a great numbe rof muslims

The muslim speakers were great and i felt they conducted themselves very well masha Allah.

I would love to see the muslim debate intiative come into the mainstream and even see them collaborate with IERA in debates, they would be a great forcetogether.

  • A good talk by brother Paul...Well done brother Abdullah
