Kvikk Lunsj vs Kit Kat

In Norway there are no Kit Kats. There is only Kvikk Lunsj, which is strikingly similar to the Kit Kat. Norwegians do not like this comparison as Kvikk Lunsj is a source of national pride and is seen as something unique. With the help of my friend Espen, we tested whether Norwegians can distinguish between the two....

kvikk lunsj is so much better than a kit kat!

They are similar only in the fact that it's chocolate coated bisquit. The taste is night and day.

Was it an American Kit-Kat or a European one? I always think the kit-kats in Europe taste much better than the American ones (the chocolate is smoother and milkier, less vegetable fats probably!), so I would imagine that the American kit-kat would be even farther from the taste of Kvikk Lunsj. Although, maybe I am exaggerating, I have never eaten them one after another.

What a totally cool thing to do! I've actually thought about doing the same, 'cause I don't think they taste that similar. I am SO on board the Kvikk Lunsj boat myself! Okay, that sounds weird, but I LOOOOOVE Kvikk Lunsj, and Kit Kat is only okay. :) Thanks for doing this and uploading it - this is great!

its easy, kit kat has the most fake taste ever and kvik lunsj is taisting like pure choocolate. (Cuz im norweegian and i have grown up whit kvik lunsj.
