  • @ojoeable @ojoeable I guess that's why God and references to faith are embedded in marble and stone throughout Philadelphia, Boston and in Washington D.C. "In God We Trust" is on our currency and monuments. "Endowed By Our Creator" is clearly written in many of our historical and founding documents. Also, that if you take the time to read some of the diaries, journals and writings of the founding fathers almost everyone writes of the importance of God and faith in thier lives and decisions.

  • @ojoeable Actually God and Government are supposed to be intertwined, but separation of church and state means that the government can not create and fund their own religion.

  • @LibertaerUeberAlles Actually he did say this, and he is not a "NeoCon" as you say, he is more Libertarian than anything with a few differences. And yes Ron is the founder, but he does not run it. It is a loosely fitted coalition of people and groups. SO why the Blue on Blue mentality? Same side bro......

  • @charmagne70

Nah, despite what the NeoCon, Beck, tells you, America hasn't been free since 1913.

Dr. Ron Paul is the Tea Party founder.

  • @sweatpantsmurphey You are mistaken, read the U.S. Constitution for yourself. After you do get back to me if you can find any part of the U.S. Constitution that specifically states separation of church and state!

  • @dantheleo - read your constitution. the separation of church and state is a fundamental component of the US constitution...it exists independently of any political movement or party.

  • Seperation of Church and State is a liberal philosophy, there is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that states separation of church and state.

  • @dantheleo i don't care about your religious beliefs, i am just saying we are a secular country.

where do you get your facts?

  • @FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 See in England they had the Church of England where the government created their own religion, that's part of the reason why people came to America. The founders decided that they did not want that to happen here so they put that in there. Separation of church and state is to keep the government out of religion not to keep religion out of government.

  • @FlyinSpaghettiMnstr7 Believe whatever you like, it doesn't make any difference to me. That's the difference between you and me, I am a person with faith and believe people can believe whatever they choose to and you, as an atheist don't want anyone to have faith or believe in anything. I am happy to see posts from people like you it makes people think of thier own faith and makes it stronger. I didn't think you would do the research, just don't like facts do you? Merry Christmas!
