Fascinating, and creative approach – today I had a discussion with a potential supervisor; I told him I wanted to see a lot more biological involvement in psychology - and here it is, via neuroscience. Specialization in the motor cortex is a good area concerning stroke. It would be interesting to see the relationship between plasticity and other pathologies too. This is certainly something I am considering for future research.
