I just found a link for the newer CDs and hope to get

Original Daily Flash drummer Jon Keliehor briefly replaced John Densmore in The Doors. He also replaced Mike Clarke in The Byrds for a short time. Guitarist Doug Hastings replaced Neil Young in The Buffalo Springfield for a few months. He also subbed with The Iron Butterfly. The band played all the major L.A. clubs in the 60's and later became a favorite of Bill Graham who featured them on shows with many of the top musical acts of the day.

One of the most inventive bands of the 60's. Saw them at the Avalon Ballroom. The were doing Fusion before it was a recognized branch of music expression. I remember them doing Cantaloupe Island then breaking into Queen Jane Approximately then going into a heavy 12 bar blues number. Anyone out there know where to get any live recordings from that era?

It was stolen, unfortunately. The current bass player, Don Wilhelm, has one just like it.

What a great band!!! My framed "Renaissance Faire"(Chuck Trimble '67) poster I quietly removed from the UW campus one night hangs proudly in my hallway. The show featured the Flash with Country Joe & the Fish. I think the first of many times I saw the group they were performing at the HUB in the cafeteria while students ate lunch. It was then that my life changed! There is a CD of the Psycho LP with 2 bonus tracks with their singles and some live stuff you should get if you can find it!

The bad news about the CD is that it's an illegal bootleg that the guys get nothing from. However, they are working on one with a bunch of unreleased material from the old days. And there's a CD for the new edition of The Daily Flash as well.

Nice! Were you the one filming?

Yep. The video camera's battery had died, so I was using the Canon still camera. It has a movie feature that I'd never tried.
