8 WEEKS as a Non-Smoker...WOOT! I Can't Believe I Quit Smoking

Yes, it's been 8 weeks since I had a smoke and I feel pretty good, food is starting to taste better & different, I'm not sure if I like some of the smells I'm smelling more clearly now though.

The meds I am on are called Champix (in Canada), the medicinal name is Varenicline Tartrate Tablets from Pfizer ( yes I know, evil drug company), if you smoke and are really wanting to quit and have failed time & again like me, at the very least, talk to your doctor about this option, it may work for you, it may not or maybe it will cause drug interactions with other meds you may be on, but at the very least it can't hurt to do some research.

Almost 3 weeks of being a non-smoker for me using Chantix (American version), haven't not smoked like this in 5 years (been a smoker for 15 years). I am very happy! Good luck and keep it up man!

It's almost 22 weeks now for me, I still get the odd craving but they are become less frequent

@jakluk4 Thanks Jak, I think I'll have to make another progress video this weekend, 9 weeks and counting now and I haven't smashed anything or choked anyone, it's been fairly smooth, a few little bumps along the way but nothing that changing my focus right away couldn't fix.

I'm on my way to becoming one of THOSE ex-smokers...not LOL

@doug1119 Thanks Doug, it's 9 weeks as of tonight, I'm still getting to odd craving but as soon as I think of soemthing else, poof the craving is gone, I'm starting to like this no smoking thing!
