Thank you Bro, I had a lot of fun writing recording and performing it and singing it with Kitty! There is also footage for the Catholic cemetery here as well; the older section in the back in front of the rural cemetery.

Well done! Excellent music and pics, and loved the locale choice of Stockton Rural Cemetery!

@oldstocktonmusician i think the person who missed the like key is the same person that missed it on the taste of honey vid.
-
@rhonddanunes Look, sombody missed the 'like' key. Actually Rhondda I notice the distortion now that you and Nathan bring it up, but still a really good job. you're making the most of that 'ol skool' equipment.
-
@rhonddanunes:Agreed, I think because there's a lot of musicians that cover up for their own inadequacies by using sequencing, pitch correction, etc. Not everyone's talented or with good enough chops to do live recording, which is too bad.Too bad that those that need extra 'props' to sound good are even allowed to make music; it shouldn't be allowed in an ideal world.

@nathan921000 :The sound at the end of the song are my boots tapping the beat; actually, I use them throughout with the bass drum part; you don't really hear it in the rest of the song, more like you feel the sound of them; yes, I did the drum part(such as it is); and yes, I'm singing soprano at the 9/8, you have a good ear, Nathan to be able to tease that out.
-
@rhonddanunes:*they're*I'm sure you were in a hurry.Really, even the drums?Questions:Is Kitty singing soprano at the 9/8 section that starts 'ut animilia'?& what is that sound at the end of the song, the tapping?
Another question:some of the backing tracks sound a little distorted were they recorded in the same format as the lead vocals?

@nathan921000 :Again, congrats on your good ear....the backing tracks were originally recorded on a 4-track analog tape deck with lots of ping-ponging; the lead vocals were recorded on my new Boss 16-track digital recorded; hence the sound difference, which no-one seems to have noticed other than you, good job!

@rhonddanunes Wait, a boss 16 track recorder is your NEW equipment? And the backing tracks were recorded on an analog tape 4 track?Pretty amazing you could get such a good sound from such low-tech equipment.; I'd say you're the one with the good ear, but thanks for the compliment.

@nathan921000 :Yes, we're way ol' skool here at my studio; no auto-tune, no pitch correction, no sequencing, all tracks were performed live in real time just like ELP or Yes would have done in the progressive rock era...Why?because I believe in musical truth...there's not a lot of that around these days, unfortunately.
