ok guys the thing is is that he doesnt give a shit about what everyone else thinks those that enjoy him will continue to do so he doesnt want to be viewed as the Idol guy anymore he is getting away from that and listen to the words of the song the song is about shock and awe get over yourselves

I applaud him for everything he has done. Adam doesn't play it safe and that's why he has achieved great success in a short amount of time. People remember his performances and that's a true mark of a great artiste. I'm 50 and from Asia and I see nothing wrong with what he did. He's an entertainer and he did entertain despite what you think of it. I would love it if he does something crazy again.

hmm. i kind of admire him for doing it. he brought up a good point tht there IS a double standard. i mean who cares if he kissed a dude? britney and madonna kissed and tht wasnt a problem. just because hes a guy everyone is making a big deal. if ya dont like it then dont watch i guess. i just dont think its as big of a deal as everyone makes it. he's an amazing singer and he has the right to perform how he wants. i love his music. he's different. thts what i like most. :)

ummm his performance was disgusting! it made me wanna throw up everywhere. i wanted him to win american idol but i can see now that he didnt deserve it at all. Kris allen is such a better role model! kissing and guy and sticking someones head in his crotch is gross. he lost a lot of fans from that one performance. he is so much better than that.

He bumped big time vocally. Missed opportunity to show off his talent to the world (once again). He can do better. He created the controversy and backlash so he has to deal with it. Overall, he just has to move on and prove himself the next time. I have NOT lost even a nano-atom of respect and admiration for the guy no matter how I was disappointed with his vocal delivery. I have more than enough proof of what he can do and what he does (as a person) to dismiss him with just one performance.
