I wanted something slow and smaller to fly with the kids at the park so the pico tiger moth fit the criteria. setup is 24 gram brushless, 6 gram esc, 2x 5 gram servos, 800mah lipo. This setup allows me to fly close to 20 mins...until I'm bored. on a watt meter, when flying 1/4 throttle, it consumes a bit over 1 amp...1/2 throttle is about 3 amps...full 7 amps. most of the time, I fly at 1/4 - 1/2 throttle.

  • This is a Tiger Moth?!? I thought those things all flew horribly. Not this one! Nice, soft float. Tight loop, too.

  • Yea...tiger moths fly very well. Nice characteristics...no bad habits. Stalls are almost non-existence. and glides to a landing. makes a good 1st beginner rc plane.
