@billy467321 Yeah man, that was a deliberate thing, it's supposed to be like a collage of the things which influenced us the most. We wrote this just before we played at the O2 arena so we thought it would be apt to write a song summarising our first year and a half together as a band with little bits and bobs from the songs we love. Hope that clears it up a bit more for you, I outline it in our interview for The Source, which you should be able to find on the related list over there ->

It's funny how I was the one in the band having a mint time and you were just some dick head trying to make yourself feel better. The drumming fits the genre of music perfectly & it was my take on that song as we wrote it.

all I was getting at is that there are some distinct similarities between this bands riffs and those of certain popular rock songs.
