No-Rouz, in word, means "New Day". It is the new day that starts the year, traditionally the exact astronomical beginning of the Spring. Norouz is about the oldest tradition in the history which has survived the passage of time. It has been celebrated for at least 3000 years and is deeply rooted in the ritual and tradition of the Zoroastrian religion. Today the festival of Norouz is celebrated in many countries that were territories of or influenced by the old Persian Empire: Persia (Iran), Iraq, Afghanistan, parts of the Middle East, as well as in the former Soviet Republics of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Crimea, Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo & Macedonia. It is also celebrated by the Zoroastrians in India and is a public holiday in Turkey, where it is called Biram in the Turkish language and Newroz in Kurdish. Passage of time has not reduced importance of the traditional festival and it is being observed by people more gloriously each year than the previous year. Norouz rites start in the northwestern Iranian city of Orumiyeh West (Azarbaijan) alike other parts of Iran before commencement of the new year. Norouz Customs and Traditions: House Cleaning: a month before Norouz, people start dusting and cleaning every part of their houses, dusting furniture and washing carpets. The practice represents renewal and refreshment. In association with the "rebirth of nature", extensive spring-cleaning is a national tradition observed by almost every household in Iran. Shopping for Norouz: Before approach of the new year, the people also buy new clothes, nuts, sweets and spring flowers. Chaharshanbe-Soori: is a Fire Festival and an old Iranian tradition, coming on the last Tuesday night of the old year and is observed by kindling fires in the alleys at nightfall. The mirthful people in groups make buns of fire as token of removing every filth and dirt from the face of mother nature and make every thing clean and pure. Chaharshanbe-Soori is a purification rite and 'suri' itself means red and fiery. People prepare special nuts & cook special dishes. The youth and young adults go door to door and ask owners of the houses to give them gifts/goodies. People leap over bonfires with songs and gestures of merriment like: (Sorkhi-e to az man) Give me your beautiful red color (Zardi-e man az to) And take back my sickly pallor! Grow Sabzeh (wheatgrass):At least 10 days prior to the Norouz, housewifes takes handfuls of seeds, the number of which depends on the number of members of the family, and wishes them health, happiness and prosperity as placing them in a clay pot full of water to grow wheatgrass (Sabzeh) for the `Haftseen' table. Cooking Samanoo: a dish of specially raised wheat or other seed sprout for the Haft-seen Table. Haft-seen Table: With the approach of the new year, Iranians get their tables ready with seven items that symbolize prosperity and the triumph of good over evil. The tradition traces to the antiquity but is still practiced widely. Number seven typically has been regarded as magical by Iranians since ancient times and has reference to the highest angles. The seven items beginning with the Persian /S/ sound or Haft Seen include: Sabzeh / wheat sprouts, usually wheat or lentil growing in a dish representing rebirth. Samanu is a sweet pudding made from juice of germinating wheat or malt mixed with flour and brought to a consistency - symbolizing affluence Seeb means apple and represents health and beauty. Senjed (Wild olive) is a dry fruit of the Lotus tree, represents love. It has been said that when lotus tree is in full bloom, its fragrance and its fruit make people fall in love and become oblivious to all else. Seer which is garlic in Persian, symbolizing medicine & health. Somaq / sumac berries, represent the color of sunrise; with the appearance of the sun Good conquers Evil. Serkeh or vinegar, represents age and patience Other items on the table may include: Sonbol - Hyacinth (plant) Sekkeh - Coins - representative of wealth Aajeel - dried nuts, berries and raisins Lit candles (enlightenment and happiness) A mirror (symbolizing cleanness and honesty) Decorated eggs, sometimes one for each member of the family (symbolyses Birst/fertility) A bowl of water with goldfish (life within life, and the sign of Pisces which the sun is leaving) Rosewater, believed to have magical cleansing powers A jar of water is sometime added, symbolizing the purity and freshness, along with bread which is a traditional symbol of sustainer of life. 13.History is the best witness and every one except Turk themselves knows what happened to 1.5 Million Armenian just now in 20 century, not to mention daily struggle of 30% of total population of turkey, KURDS a pure Iranian Tribes, for their very basic rights to call themselves KURD instead of Mountain Turk!!! or even choose Kurdish name. This is the reason Anatolia became Turkey! Should I go on for other so-called 360 million Turks?.

12.Now, let see who were the Yeni Cheri, the proud of Turks. Majority of Yeni cheri army, were just innocent boys taken as slave during European invasion and after killing their parents (Mostly Bulgar, Rumanian, Serbs, etc). They were isolated and train to kill in order to survive. These kids never enjoy the warmth of family, so lacked any feeling. They were trained to kill even their own masters and easy killing machine in hands of Turk caliphs and their Pashas.

11.We can go on and write about these so-called caliphs forever but this should be enough for curious mind to start his/her own research.

10.This serial of Blood and death was continue during 300 years of Ottoman ruling killing millions of innocent people including their own relative for thirst of power and wealth. For those interested I refer Great European researcher D. Cantemir: The history of the Grouth and decay of the Ottoman Empire London 1758. Or J. von Hammer: Geschichte des Osmanischen Reish, 10 vols, Budapest1827-1835. Let me know if you need more reference and your language of choice!!!

8.During his 8 years rule, the land was a blood bath every day. 400 traders were killed because they trade with Iran. This statistic is just tip of Iceberg.
9.Sultan Soleyman the second Ottoman Caliph was not even better. He killed several of his own sons and grandsons, including the talented Poet Mustafa (Mohebi) who has several Poem books all in PERSIAN.

7.Getting back to Salim the founder of Ottoman Caliph, he killed over 40,000 on suspicion of being Shia in one week before famous Chaldoran War when his 240,000 Yeni Cheri Army armed with Canon and artilleries facing only 28,000 Persian army. And even funnier, despite their initial win, this was the first time in history, a wining army left behind all its artilleries and run away in few weeks!

6.Even worse, Sultan Murad the 3rd had 103 children and only 20 sons and 27 daughters survived. Out of 20 sons, his successor Sultan mohammad the 3rd killed 19 of his own brothers according this Fatwa.

5.Sultan Salim the first, start his ruling by poisoning his own father. He killed all his own brothers including their wives and children. This was not enough, he killed 3 of his own sons (Morad, Mahmoud, & Abdallah) and he was planning to kill his last son Soleyman but a miracle saved him. A fatwa legitimized killing brothers and children in order to strengthen ruling!!!!

4. Cont:
Turks start another chapter of conquering lands in behalf of Islam but their power was LIMITED to Military power and until the end, they were disable to build a CIVILIZATION of their own. They were satisfied to the taking advantage of civilizations they took over without adding to them on their own. Consequently they went backward and their era closed to its end.

4. Getting back to Ottoman Caliphs and looking at their shameful achievements, there have been many books written by European. Perhaps I should include some opinion from Gustave le Bon where in his book Civilization des Arabes P468-469, he states: The end of Arab rule came at the day when by the same SWORD they took power, they were overrun by Turks.
