well it's a bit of a pain in the ass when they're family and you can't just simply quit being around them. but I liked the video a lot.

@attractanything I see what you mean. I'm gonna try it. Thanks for answering my question.

@logotrix I try to stay focused BUT I deal with the consequences of their decisions (which makes me feel like I have NO control over my life). Plus they don't make good decisions at all. All of them have the mentality of 6 year olds and I'm around them all the time. It is exhausting mentally.

@chrisbartley88 - what a great thought! well said.

I know exactly where you're coming from, and I think Jon has it right with everything he says here: detach, have a sense of humor, try to look through it to the good in the person, and do your best not to feel like a victim (and giving up your power). Don't let them bring you down - because they will probably do everything they can to sabotage you. Get a good game face, a solid boundary, and stay focused on where you want to go! If your family is like mine - they won't change.

I think Jon exudes a genuinely positive vibe - even in video - cool.

@UCorona87 well said. way too many people ruin theirs lives by getting involved and trying to fix others. we can't help a person who doesn't want it. all we can do is offer advice and wisdom, if they don't take it...they'll learn the hard way, painful experience.
Everyone in my immediate family is very negative but I can't get away from them because I still depend on them. How can I continue my progress instead of finding myself back in the same place? Anyone?

@PawneeStud Oddly enough, If you embrace people like that, and give them positive validation (even when they don't deserve it), they will have less negative influence over you. The old saying is, "What you resist, persists." So don't resist or "push against" them or their negativity -- try your best to embrace them and go with the flow. It's better to "bend" in your point of view, than "break." Make sense?

John, you're so so incredibly awesome. I just found you but I wanted to share with you how much of an impact you're making on me already in just the first few days.
Thank you, thank you so very much. Keep in with all the wonderful life teachings and helping people ascend to a higher plane of existences - like you are with me.
May peace, kindness and love greet you each and every moment of your life. ; )

Any tips on raising our vibrations?

@andrushek11 Music helps me a LOT in this regard. I've also been using binaural audio for years, that "sync" the brainwaves to a new frequency and change mood. Very effective. I have a new video coming soon about this process.
