I am going to get my first pointe shoes on the 29th of this month, with my ballet teacher, and a few other pupils to get them. This Video, has make me more excited than I was before :D

@Anyagotswagga Hello.Pointe shoes have to be tried on before buying so you have no way of knowing if mine would fit you or not. Also, it is highly unlikely we would have the same size feet. I take a UK size 7 which is US size 10.[I`m 5ft 7in tall]. I buy all my pointe shoes brand new. The new ones i have are imported from the US and have cost me a fortune.

@ihveswag I am 44 and haven`t danced for over 20 yrs. Nearly every pair is brand new and unused. I just like to collect different brands from all over the world.

How long have you worked en pointe? Your collection is very large(: I would love to know... do you get the harder shanks? Also, which shoe do you prefer comfort and longevity wise? Thanks very much(:

@Themusicalgroup1 Hello,I trained in classical ballet for 8 and a half years, and was a professional dancer at the Moulin Rouge in Paris.This was over 20 years ago and i am now in my 40`s. I COLLECT pointe shoes, i don`t dance in them.!! Thanks for looking, Lisa.
