Damascus car bomb kills 17 on 27, Sep, 2008

A car bomb exploded near a Shiite shrine in southern Damascus today, killing 17 people and wounding 14 others in one of the deadliest attacks to hit Syria in a dozen years, state media said.

The car packed with 200 kilos of explosives blew up near a security checkpoint on a road to Damascus airport in what the interior minister Gen Bassam Abdel Majid told state television was a terrorist act.

  • some question concernining this explosion : Where are the victims pictures ?? where is the explosion's Site pictures ( the hole caused by it) ?? why only the syrian TV was allowed to cover this crime ?? Questions are needed to be answered by the Assad Mafia !!!
