Sarbans Dhani Guru Gobind Singh JI. We hear this phrase many times, but do we really understand it? He sacrificed his father, his mother, his four sons for the Khalsa to survive. Then he gave up his own life. Guru Maharaaj said, Panth Vasey, Mey Ujrah! Let the Khalsa Flourish, Even if I am ruined.

I'm not a Sikh, but I have the utmost respect for Sikhism and especially your Guru Gobind Singh. His life was amazing, there was no one else who fought so bravely for freedom at that time anywhere on earth. Peace!

@TheImpressionable You have lived up to your name, been influenced by somebody. I must correct you, the Sikh is first a Saint and if need be he will surely take up arms. When there is injustice all around you, sometimes you need to fight tyrannical rulers. The same thing happened during the time of the mougals, Sikhs were hunted to almost extinction; what would a sane man do in that situation, it may be that by defending himself may look to others as violent, but you'd be wrong.
