Looks like your having a good time at the Fort point pier, I fished and crabed there since I was a kid with my older brother. We had our buckets full with around 30 crabs per hour. back in 1974 -1987 using a crab net with raw chicken. The fishing at this pier was good for shark using 50lb test line using bullheads
careful falling in the water the tide pulls and could be very dangerous.
It was a secret location sometime ago and there was a milatary check point.

Nope, No need of a License if your Fishing on a Pier in California. And if I'm not mistaken that was taken on Fort Point Pier.

i was in the same spot like 3 days ago with 3 crab nets. ending up losing 2 nets with no luck. but we did find a weird ass blinking rock.
still don't know what it is. *oh yea. this was at night so thats they reason the rock was blinking.*

We did use squid and nets the hubby wanted to try something a little different the nets were getting boring. Too bad the water is so polluted because of it we haven't gone crabbing this season. :(
