@rememberzack1 Yeah, his bouts of depression lead him to eat and drink heavily, later in his life, eventualy rendering him morbidly obese at close to 400 lbs and suffer from asthma. He's an Hollywood legend from another time, eventhough he was an outsider and disliked mainstreem thinking. He, predictably (!!) died of a heart attack in 1985, a few years after this was made.
