Environment Minister Tony Burke is an industry stooge. The best the logging industry and the Greens could come up with was a 'Forestry Apartheid' regime. This separates high conservation museum forests from degraded, toxic pulp wood quarries. What a great outcome eh? This is what happens when 'group think' replaces rational thought. All they had to do was get rid of the pulp wood industry to somewhere with lower costs, and return to the way the forests were managed for generations. By accommodating just one industry the Greens have undermined all their principles and philosophy. Too bad eh?
