@zobcity01 ...Imeant,10 mins walk from my house-also to say if your wondering why be in the house?1st, we only had 30 secs to get to public shelter so why bother. &2nd, it is in fact SAFER to be in a building or near a wall,&wait til you here the rocket\s fall.When I was in local high street the siren went off, &within seconds there wasnt one person in the streets,all gone inside the shops.My husband is invalid of army&didnt take it too well,he was in the shelter most of the time.Thanks again.

@zobcity01 Thankyou for your comments. I live in Ashkelon,expat fromUK.I was here all through the ''gaza war'' as it is known here. One day we had 15 air raids sirens go off.We dont have inbuilt shelter,most poeple dont, old house.I had to stand with my son and his friends in back room as only one with concrete roof. The kasam rockets are just as deadly as Iranian Grads, which fell here.One grad hit our local mall months before the war,10 mins from my house.Anyway, thanks .
