UFO UK 22.08.09
What is it? It is the size of an airplane, I know this as it flew over my head before I started fiming it.
the really strange thing is that when it came over me it looked like the size of a small aeroplane. I ran to get the camera and it was then a couple of miles away and had stopped. It then sped up very quickly and the black image appeared when it got further away. It's the second weirdest thing I've ever seen. Also the wind was very calm this evening so logic doesn't point toward it being a balloon or lantern. Also if this were the case then the dark part of the object would be lit up in some way and it isn't.
the object is a long long way away toward the end of the film and I guess that's too hard to tell unless you were there. My camera has a very long zoom on it which when used without a tripod causes this shaking effect to happen just from breathing and the tiniest of movements. It's moving away from me very quickly so the bigger the jiggle the more i'm zooming to keep up with it. The angle also makes this difficult to tell. If you listen to the audio closely you may hear the motor turing as i zoom. I had to keep zooming back out so I could see where it was going.
I just traced around the still shot contrast adjusted picture in the video and this thing is in the shape of a head with a fixed "lightening bolt" or "spear" pointing down across the bottom left hand side. Anyone can trace this object by holding the paper over the screen.

i filmed 1 of these on my phone on sat night and another 1 tonight.just saw a glowing orange orb out of the corner of my eye and opend the window and it was moving realy slowly through the clouds,ha so ime not going crazy then

They do this thing, like repeat a trail, as if they are somehow moving back in time, and they have to repeat their line of travel.

we saw the same thing but over austria on our vecation :O ist really scarry :( and the same fucking date :O :O OMFG OMFG........... yeah exactly the same dark ball :S

The 1st one was around this date but had two lights, looked like normal stars, a plane was about to run into it or that is at least what its evasive maneuver indicated. hovered about 100ft over my head slowly moved off after 30 secs. state officer said it was drone. no noise. since then all i've seen are one's with one light.

I have been tracking this one for a while. commonly seen between 4:30am - 5:30am. Twice on Tuesday and once on a Saturday so far. Was not the 1st I've seen ever but, seems to be the only one now.

Very interesting. I saw something similar around 20 years ago. I was looking out of my bedroom window early one morning at what I assumed was Venus, until it suddenly descended and disappeared behind a hill. This object you've captured is the wrong colour for Venus (or Jupiter) and furthermore, the movement you've described precludes that explanation anyway. Good work.
